Scope of Employment

Electronics branch is the best branch and evergreen branch forever. The scope is this branch is lot in now days. ECE stands for Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Scope of electronics and communication engineering or EC engineering is huge because modern technology uses electronics; chips, transistors, fiber optics etc and we know that an EC engineer deals with all of these. Scope of EC engineering is vast that it is applied in every field.

The development of the world that includes every area such as telecommunication, satellite, microelectronics, technology etc is all based on electronics engineering. Electronics has also helped in developing health care, automation, signal processing etc.

This is one of the core streams of engineering which has large scope in public and private sector both. After completion of Bachelor of Engineering in ECE, you can apply for Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering for M.E course, this is one of the best higher studies option for ECE graduates.

Second advantage of GATE examination is that candidates get call from top PSUs for recruitment. Candidates who secure top rank are able to get call letter and then they have to clear group discussion and personal interview to get job.

Other than this, you can apply for exams like AAI entrance exam, ISRO entrance exam, BSNL JTO examination. In case of general competition, you can apply for Civil Services exam, banking jobs exam like IBPS etc.

You can also get private jobs in companies like LG, Samsung, TCS, IBM, Marconi etc.

Programme Educational Objectives

  • Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
